Presenter info
Talks
Each talk slot is 15 minutes. Please prepare a 12-minute presentation, followed by 3 minutes for questions.
Presentation format
Powerpoint slides are the best option and the projection should allow speakers to see speaker notes. PDFs are also feasible. Keynote will not work on the McMaster system.
Uploading your slides
Presenters should upload their slides to the appropriate session folder in the Google Drive shared by email. If you are unsure which session you are in, please check the abstract book. Slides must be uploaded no later than Monday June 15.
Posters
Dimensions
Posters should be 4 feet X 3 feet (~120 X 90 cm) landscape (or smaller).
Poster sessions
There will be two posters sessions:
- Wednesday, June 17, 1:30–3:30 pm
- Thursday, June 18, 1:30–3:30 pm
You will be assigned to present in one of these sessions. Please check the abstract book to find your assigned session. However, we ask that all posters are displayed from Wednesday morning until Friday morning to allow attendees to view them.
Remote participation
We are working on a set-up for posters to be available online or in some other way for our remote participants.
Printing
If you need to print your poster in Hamilton there are two options:
For poster printing services at McMaster, MSU Underground Media + Design is the most cost effective option (https://msumcmaster.ca/service/underground/) . They are located in the Student Centre. For an average poster size (48 x 36 inches) on matte paper, the cost is CAD $60.
